Learn Ealing continues to deliver courses face-to-face and through its online offer. We will deliver lessons and support learners through the use of Google Education suite, Zoom, Skype and other digital platforms.

To participate in online classes you will need an email address, a reliable internet connection, a computer/laptop/tablet/mobile phone with fully updated browser (preferably Google Chrome).  Your device will need a microphone and preferably a camera.

Beginner-friendly series of short courses and workshops designed to enhance your skills and understanding of a wide range of numerical and mathematical topics  

The aim of Multiply is to help you to build your numeracy and maths skills for practical and everyday applications. It will help you to gain confidence in applying basic maths skills to solve everyday problems and situations you encounter in your daily life.

Suitability and entry requirements
There are no pre-entry requirements for this programme. It is suitable for individuals with little or no prior knowledge of mathematics, as well as those interested in learning more about particular workshop topics.

Introduction to numbers and numbering systems Basic arithmetic functions: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division How to understand and calculate fractions and percentages How to calculate and convert weights and measures How to create a household budget Tips for making your money go further Avoiding financial problems and pitfalls Health related numbers and measures

Accreditation, qualifications and assessment methods
There is no formal exam or assessment. Feedback and assessment will be done by tutors based on your submitted work in class.

How much additional time do you need to invest apart from cl
At least 1 hour a week is recommended, but the amount of time you study outside of class time will depend on the length of the course and your own personal interest in the subject.

Resources, materials and any additional costs
All teaching and learning materials will be provided. You will need to buy writing paper, pens, a folder for completed work and handouts. Access to a calculator will be helpful.

Progression routes
